Howdy. Here is my latest poster—- for CAT STEVENS @yusufcatstevens while he tours the UK promoting his new book. 📖

This was for the London stop, Drury lane. For those who don’t know, according to legend, that’s where the MUFFIN MAN resides. 💅

I’ve discovered that I love love love drawing architecture. It’s therapy. More of this.

Wanted to share something special—-my first vinyl! This was a really big and special project, and I know how important it is when selecting an artist to visually represent your passion and your craft. I was honored to work with the guys at @gas_pops and the amazing @tunedmanagement to cook up their vision for Kill the Architect. Thank you all for having me!

I’ve been thinking a whole lot about good and evil, society and conflict, lies and smoke screens. I’ve never felt the world quite like this, and I tapped into some of those feelings and fears on this one.

I truly hope that we can all have more kind and open conversations. I hope we can heal, speak and work through our differences and find some common ground to move our country and our world forward in a way that spreads love, respect, and equality to all. Talk to each other, be patient and kind, listen to opposing viewpoints and stop trying to keep score. Life is a gift, not a competition.

Human a little harder.

New poster for @kitchendwellers summer tour. I absolutely adore this band and I have hoped to draw for them for awhile, so you can imagine my yell when this gig arrived.

They’re truly one of my go-to bands for time spent outdoors exploring my mind, especially mountain biking. Their music feels like fresh air and dappled sunlight in the forest.

I hoped to capture the feeling of both wide open spaces and intimate rustic charm of Montana.

I found great inspiration in the state insect, Say’s Firefly. I also was feeling a nod to ‘Honeybee’ and the feeling I get from ‘Spirit of the Dark Horse’ —— and ended up with this dreamy night scene of busy bees dressing up as fireflies and helping to harvest electric lights from plants with tree goddesses.

If you’ve been following for a little while, you know I am absolutely weak for a pollinator. It’s a huge part of my mission of stewardship for the planet to provide safe and productive environments for the little critters that allow us to eat.

I hope this piece will help motivate you to think about what you can do for pollinators. Go pick up some plants, install a hummingbird feeder, create a bug hotel and water station.
It matters!

I’m speechless. If you thought I was annoying before, buckle up. This is one of the greatest achievements of my life and exactly what I set out to do when I was a weird, artsy and angsty little girl growing up in Baltimore.

There really are no words for my gratitude for being able to make this poster and attend. I sow a lot of stories into my posters, and this might be the most complicated one yet. The state of Maryland has a long history and a lot of lore. One of the most well-known is the Snallygaster, a bird-reptile hybrid rumored to have claws, tentacles and one eye. I wanted to reimagine this creature as one originating in human form and transforming next to the Chesapeake Bay.

I’m a lifelong Marylander and we’re known for having a cult-like sense of pride in the state. You’ll find our state Dino skull, oriole, beloved black eyed Susans, and little scapes of Baltimore and Annapolis. I’ve lived in both cities and love them both dearly. Also, spot Chessie?

I love the mystical feeling of our woods, mountains, beaches, and cities. There are notes of pain and struggles, victories, and lessons. I tried to cultivate that feeling of wonder and mystery that takes me over when I head out into the forest, especially one with a history of Cryptid sightings. On top of that, the Ouija board has a rooted history in Baltimore and you’ll see nods to its design structure here as well as my take on the lettering. My work often boils down to the natural and metaphysical world, the golden thread that ties together reality and the make-believe. It’s always driven by nature and my experiences in life and on the Earth. This was definitely a love letter to Maryland and how she raised me, as well as the living legend that is JBS.

I’m so grateful for their work in the community and I feel honored to play a tiny role in my art giving back. This group has helped pave poster careers, feed children, fill clothing needs, provide comfort and humanity. I’m so lucky to get to work with them. Not only are they one of my favorite bands, they were the first band to ever book me for a poster 🥲. It feels like ages ago, and I’ve been hoping for a long time that I would get a chance to do this again, with more skills and understanding of screen printing. This one is an early nod to earth day and the gift of Mother Earth. Now more than ever is the time to cherish her, give back, listen and think globally while acting locally.
